Firm that make use of virtualisation technology can become stronger by increasing efficiency while scaling down physical work, it has been revealed.
According to chief executive of Innovations International Danny Guillory, virtualisation also saves on energy costs and the overhead costs of maintaining a central business location.
"But, the bottom line is, virtualisation can create a stronger organisation where employees work efficiently and with balance that working from home can offer," he added.
He went on to say that the company has saved around 20 per cent on annual expenses as a result of adopting the technology, adding that the workforce has also been able to discover more efficient ways of working.
Last month Stuart Dorman, principal solutions consultant at IT solutions provider Sabio, stated that UK organisations can optimise customer contact operations by making use of virtualisation.
He went on to say that restrictions to adopting the technology include out-of-date or mismatched telephony systems.
