Researchers at Gartner have published the updated Magic Quadrant report for 2013 and have positioned leading cloud service provider Interoute Communications Ltd highly for its "ability to execute”.
Interoute is the owner and operator of Europe’s biggest cloud services platform, accounting for 10 hosting data centres, 31 "collocation centres” and has further connections to 140 third-party data centres across the region.
Gartner published the 2013 Magic Quadrant for European Managed Hosting Providers report late last month, which offers advice on recommended vendors.
"The most heavily weighted criteria for a managed hoster's Ability to Execute are its service offerings and service excellence, as reflected in customer experiences with sales, support and operations,” the report said.
It went on to say that those leaders that have demonstrated market "staying power” can be relied upon to deliver stand alone or integrated solutions to customers and "can be relied upon for enterprise-class needs”.
It was further stated that Interoute have proven "technical competence”, as well as showing that they are an innovative company that can serve a range of customers. Interoute deal with leading brands such as UEFA and Deutsche Post, providing converged network services for business apps and webs.
"I am delighted that Gartner has recognised Interoute as a leader among European Managed Hosting Providers,” said Matthew Finnie , Interoute CTO.
"We believe our position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant is testament our ability to provide our customers with innovative services, such as Interoute Virtual Data Centre, that heralds a decisive shift toward high levels of flexibility, availability and scale all the while maintaining security and data privacy”.
Last month, the company won two ‘Business Service Innovation’ awards by Global Telecoms Business for Interoute Virtual Data Centre (VDC), being recognised for scalability and the level of control that it gives to its users.
