VMware have confirmed that source code posted online on 23rd April by hacker ‘Hardcore Charlie’ is VMware ESX source code from the 2003 to 2004 timeline. Whilst so far the hacker has only made one confirmed posting of the code, VMware has warned that there may be more to come and say they will keep customers updated.
